About CBT

Dr. Tony Smith has been a chiropractic physician since 1980. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College. Since the early years of his practice, he has been an avid student and practitioner of alternative healing techniques.

In 1995, Dr. Smith suffered a major allergic reaction to a single dose of prescription medication, which resulted in severe, persistent joint pain. This traumatic event forced him to sell his busy, 15-year practice in Colorado Springs. He and his family then moved to North Idaho after falling in love with the area.

Dr. Smith’s disabling condition gradually improved over the next few years, and he soon resumed practicing on a limited basis.

Because of his life-changing allergy experience, and his frustration with several chronic health problems, he was inspired to develop an effective and natural system for evaluating and treating a wide variety of health problems.

After 4 years of achieving incredible results, Dr. Smith felt that it was time to introduce CBT™ to other doctors - and to the world. He strongly believes that CBT is a gift from God, and that many people’s lives will be dramatically improved by this remarkable treatment.

Dr. Smith and his family live in Post Falls, Idaho. He is a member of the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians and the Christian Chiropractors Association.
